INYOUTH FIFTH EDITION Thinking out Loud

  On 6th of February, The Management Department and E-cell of St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur organized fifth edition of its annual youth summit, InYouth ’21. InYouth hosted several renowned personalities in its previous editions. This year, the summit hosted some very inspiring celebrities of the nation. Rajendra Singh , founder of Tarun Bharat Sangh, commonly known as ‘Waterman of India’; who received the Ramon Magsaysay Award & Stockholm Water Prize, shared his views over the topic ‘Reviving rivers – Power of indigenous minds'. Kerala Chetan to Rajasthan Royals: Story of lightning captain Sanju Samson was shared by the star himself, he shared some very interesting stories from international and national cricket Captain YashikaHatwal Tyagi , Ex-Indian Army Veteran, Life Coach and Motivational Speaker took over the session with exuberance and talked about 'Breaking Barriers - Story of a warrior mother. TALK SHOW ON 'MORAL FIBRE'

  Talk show on 'MORAL FIBRE' was organised by the MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT and E-Cell along with Management Executive Tribunal of our college on 12th of January,2021. Session was graced by the presence of Rev Fr Dr A Rex Angelo, Principal, St. Xavier’s College. The Guest speaker of the session was MR.SIBEY MATHEW, currently a Development Manager at SAP LABS, IIM Calcutta, Alumni. In starting of the session, he threw light on how the upcoming era will be and told us the perfect personality traits we need to have to sustain. Then,he carved his way by further into the session by telling us the importance of 'IMPRESSION' with the perfect examples. He through real life examples taught us to remove unwanted things from our minds and diversify our mind to get influenced by the positivity around us. “Work a short time, rest well and innovate”. The four day week when experimented in the past resulted in benefits mainly like increased productivity, cost cutting, and efficient employees. Today in contemporary world there is overwhelming evidence that the key to attract and retain talent is through guaranteed work life balance. The shortening of working week without a loss in pay has been a great demand as it provides a solution to rescue the nation’s ailing leisure and travel industries.
